Councillor Wright
“That we as a Council enquire from the Department of Education & Science as to what provision they are making for the children of Ardrew and Dunbrinn housing estates, as the distance from the said housing estates is 3 miles to the schools on the Monasterevin road and would be an endurance test for adults and children to walk that distance from their estates to the schools.”
“That we as a Council enquire under the Freedom of Information Act from the Department of Education, as to the cost of the rented porta-cabins at Scoil Mhicil Naofa, Athy, as they appear to many people, including myself, to be a waste of money with no future and to obtain the name of the owner of these cabins.”

“That Athy Town Council calls on the HSE not to transfer the ambulance emergency service to ambulance headquarters in

8. “That Athy Town Council provides an update on the remedial work currently underway in Castlepark and a timeframe for completion of this works.”
